A REVOLUTIONARY SYSTEM

A REVOLUTIONARY SYSTEM
Systema Morabito is divided into two parts. The first part is aimed at professionals (military, police). The second is dedicated to self-defense. The method of this school is transposed with great simplicity by those approaching to it for the first time. In a relatively short period it is possible to train the pupil to act in various situations, instead of using preordained movements. The athlete learns to fight either with bare hands or with weapons, and to fight with multiple opponents at once, using the psychic aspects of the situation. Several students are part of military structures, demonstrating the use of the method learned in critical combat situations.
Systema Morabito is based on three fundamental principles:
1) absence of specific methods: there are a few basic tips that follow the laws of nature
2) we must be able to use the opponent's strength.
3) Knowing how to assess the situation of the moment (which varies continuously in time and space)

Everything is studied through the knowledge of the physical laws and the biomechanics of the human body.
"The absence of specific methods" follows the basic concept of self-defense combined with combat techniques, to the levers and projections together with the various ways of interacting physical and psychological balance of the aggressor. This  real self-defense system is adaptable to all types of people: men, women, boys and  all sizes and weights.
Now we work on the principle "not to use force against other force." It is based on the rejection of violent methods to use advantage of force and inertia of the same aggressor. So, avoid brute force, to the benefit of a full control of the opponent.
React according to the circumstances: every situation is different so it is also the type of attack (strength, speed, depth).
Systema Morabito puts particular emphasis on a realistic approach to self-defense, based on the reality of the clash whose conditions are never to be equal to that which can be simulated and tested in the gym. Technical training is based on the natural movement of the body rather than on the storage of predefined gestures, as occurs for example in kata or in the forms of other martial styles. The practitioner reacts to an attack based on their instincts, rather than run multiple times stored and repeated techniques in a mechanical way, in order to elevate body memory in relation to an hypothetical attack.
Systema Morabito doesn't make distinction between blocks, sockets and strokes, because every single move has several functions that can be chained together. The concept provides that the body of those who fight to move vertically and transversely, shoulders and pelvis rotate on their own axis during punches in an almost contemporary. With the progress of the training, without using any pre-ordained technique, students acquire motor and functional abilities related to the fundamental concepts of the System. The System has as its main purpose to give concrete answers in real combat situations even in high-risk environments.
The training techniques are based on natural movements and exploit the strengths and weaknesses of individual; so there are no fixed guard positions and the practitioner is able to defend himself in any position  Systema is not a martial art for exhibition or competition but it is a practical system in which all things are permitted. The System also places great emphasis on the defense against weapons: stick, knife, firearms. The techniques used are rapid, effective and brutal as those used in unarmed combat. The System also includes a psychological training, philosophical and knowledge of the language of the human body and biomechanics. This makes it a complete discipline of self-defense, a set of methodologies designed for the human body in relation to his movements within the space that surrounds it. Systema, method of fighting without pre-established schemes, designed for the human body and adaptable to any situation in any environment; the practice increases the mind-body coordination until an improbable result: an awareness of their and others' ability in close combat. The fighter should not try to stop the opponent's hand. Key is to accelerate its movement. It's very useful to study the same movement, placing different opponent response solutions. This study will allow the fighter to react in every situation not  using a rigid system of rules, but a creative solution, always new.
